Andover
The people of Andover take their land seriously with both AVIS (Andover Village Improvement Society) that oversees 22 reservations and is the second oldest land preservation society in the United States, and the local Andover AMC (Appalachian Mountain Club) chapter that offers weekly hikes for all ages and abilities. It’s common knowledge that there is an impressive array of presidents and presidential candidates who graduated from prestigious Phillips Academy, but the school also houses the Addison Gallery and the Peabody Museum of Archaeology.
