Haverhill is a small city with a 35 mile geographic footprint that is close to the New Hampshire border. It offers a little bit of everything: a local vineyard, a family ski and board resort, a residents’ beach, a premier disc golf course, miles of trails and conservation acreage and every type of activity one can enjoy on the mighty Merrimack River. There is a bustling downtown vibe with dozens of restaurants, cafes and microbrewed libations, and a thriving arts community, too. Haverhill is easily accessible from Routes 495, 93 and 95, two commuter rail stops, a network of bus lines, an AMTRAK stop with a line to Old Orchard Beach and Portland, ME, and a nearby airport.
